Concept
When developing the visual identity for Frei Architekten, it quickly became clear that the focus should be on the architecture, while the design itself should remain simple and minimal. Its main purpose is to create consistency and give the images space to stand out.
Design process
For the typography, we worked with a simple geometric typeface. The colour palette was kept very subtle, often using red only as a coloured edge. Whenever possible, the logo was applied as a blind embossing, similar to the business card. The images were used full-page and combined with a small quote placed on top.
